From a glitchy calendar to a game-breaking error Empty From a glitchy calendar to a game-breaking error

I couldn't add new holidays and events, and now when I tried to take one of the dogs to the vet it gave me and error message saying "The game could not load. Consider re-launching the game." Could this be due to mods or is there a need for a new patch?
