Sims 4 seasons is stuck on the same weather

So i downloaded sims 4 seasons, and everything is working as it should however, after a while of playing i noticed that the weather hasn't changed, and it stays on cloudy, and warm, even during winter. Also, unless i used the weather machine it doesn't rain or snow, so it just stays stuck on the same weather which is a bit annoying, anyone know why this is happening?

1. Try this and post a result here.

2. Go to "Documents\Electronic Arts" and rename "The Sims 4" to "The Sims 4_". This will start a fresh game (just for test, you can rename it back later). If it works, then it's your mods/CC/corrupted save files.

If you have any (script) mods, please remove them.   Other than that, I hear there will be another mini-patch to Seasons soon, which we will try releasing as well if there is a No-Origin fileset.
