Only Sims 3 Basegame needed - Torrent not working

Hi guys!
I need the Sims 3 basegame only, I have all the expansions from here. I got a new pc without a disc-drive but own the basegame copy on cd, lol... Didn't think that through!
However, the torrent for only the basegame isn't working. The client is opening but it's not showing the torrent and it says '0 Downloads' and when I tried to open it in there again, it said 'This torrent is already running'. 
Is that a problem on my end or is there another source, where I can get it from, maybe?
It'd be really cool, as I don't feel like downloading the almost 30 gigs of the complete collection, when I already have all the expansions...

In my experience, it's better to try torrenting in the late evening - early morning hours (best = 10 PM to 9 AM GMT). I also seed during those hours as I don't need the system my copy of the files are hosted on.
