Unable to install sims3.pack files. [SOLVED]

Hi, i keep getting a script error when trying to load the launcher... i am trying to get a couple of sims3.pack files installed but can't.... i added a screenshot of the error on the launcher...





and i also get a service initialization failed message when i try... here's that screenshot...

Was the game working before you tried installing the .sims3pack files? If so, where did you get the .sims3pack files from?

Did you download and install The Sims 3 from G4TW or from other sources like f.e. Fitgirl ?
It is known that some other sources cannot use the launcher properly.

yes i got the game from here, and yes the game worked just 2 days before problem... but i fixed it by re-downloading and reinstalling the game....

Always a bit risky and I personally would not recommend doing this unless all other options have failed; should you get such an initialization error in the future again, try first re-applying the 1.67 manual patch, and then the "Ultimate Fix" as well.
