GET FAMOUS, Unable to begin new game

Hi, I have followed all instructions and never had an issue with game until applying get famous and the patch. I've followed the instructions however now it won't let me play the game. It goes to the main screen and when i go to press play button it doesn't work!  I've updated wicked whims and still no luck! please help!

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator (in quick scan mode) and post the result here.

If by "keeps crashing" you mean it doesn't show the report then that's intended. I use

From that screenshot I can already tell you're missing Get Famous and you said you applied it. So do it again. Apply Get Famous and then Update 1.47.51.1020.

The webpage on my browser becomes unresponsive. So I can’t exactly  post the validator stuff.


Once I unzipped the get famous folder I copied it into the main folder, I definitely did apply it unless there’s something else I have to do. Thank you for your help and patience

Like I said, it's missing, so apply it again. That's "The Sims 4 - Get Famous.7z" and "TS4_Update_1-47-51-1020.7z" files.

I’ve done this, it opens the game but again won’t let me press the play button.

Then run validator. This time in normal mode. And if you can't paste the result here, just paste it in notepad, save to file, upload somewhere and send me the link.

Did you delete Get Famous, Laundry Day Stuff and My First Pet Stuff on purpose?

Delete "Game_" folder and those files:
game/bin/core/winhttp.dll
game/bin/python33.dll
game/bin/python33_x64.dll

Moving the folder worked but none of my custom content is showing up? How do I get it all back in my game? Do I need a new resource.cfg file?

The folder I told you to move contains saves, mods/CC, settings, etc. So obviously it will not show up. Move back your saves. If it works, start moving your mods/CC back. But not everything at once. Just test which mod/CC breaks it.
