Furniture/objects disappear upon placement

Hey! I am having an issue with my sims 4, where it runs fine as far as I know, however I cannot place down objects or any kind of furniture except for Walls, Pools, and Stair Railing (these are the ones I have discovered so far, at least). When I place something down, it will charge me simoleons, however the item will disappear immediately -- And it does not register as being there, so they are not invisible (I have spam-clicked to place items in the same spot.)

Here is what I have done:
Clearing my cache (except for the actual Cache folder itself as it is not there in my folder, but I did everything else)
Moved out my saves
Moved out my Mods
Moved out any other folders in my Electronic Arts folder (I had an old folder)
Ran TS4.exe AND TS4_x64.exe in Administrator Mode
Installed the Base Game Patch (Even though I learned afterwards you are not supposed to if you have DLC, to which I do, it did fix a completely different problem for me!)
Downloaded the latest Game folder and replaced my original Game folder (After installing the Base Game Patch; So it replaced the Base Game Patch's Game folder)

I have up to 'Toddlers, Vampires, and Bowling Stuff' installed.

I would prefer not to reinstall all of my games, as I had to switch to very slow internet! Any help would be wonderful.

With the pets expansion everything got borked. You need to run the batch fixes from Sims4studio.

I ran the batch fix on my plain game, and it said it fixed nothing, and when I ran my game, it was right -- Nothing was fixed.

Just to see if maybe the Batch needed to latch onto something to work, I put my mods back in and ran the fix -- It fixed the files themselves, but my original problem is just the same.

For the record, I am not talking about problems with CC -- I am talking about all game objects, even base-game. I am running a plain vanilla game (with some DLC) with no mods or anything of that sort, and this is still an issue, so it is not CC related.

Nope, not in apartments. I haven't actually tried in apartments, since they don't interest me.
I've tried on an empty lot in the vampire world (can't remember the name), and an empty lot AND a premade lot in a Base-game world (again, can't remember)

I'm having the same problem. It removes something on every load. To add icing on the cake one of my sims household freezes the game and cannot be played.

95% of all problems in The Sims-games is caused by mods/hacks/scripts.
Try a new game without these by renaming the folder The Sims 4 in Documents\Electronic Arts to The Sims 4_old
Then start the game again.

I ran the 64 version (My computer is 64bit) in Administrator mode with the Folder renamed, and it actually glitched the CAS so I couldn't select any traits (I had to use a stock character, Babs, in order to continue to see if my original problem still existed.) Sadly, it didn't fix anything; Everything (Tried it with a Tree, Three different beds and two were base-game, and those Arrow wall decorations) still disappears upon placement.

Should I retry in Regular TS4.exe?

Also having the same problem right now,  happened after applying "My first Pets stuff" update.

help help..im having the same problem..no furniture.. n when u buy and placed it on the world it disappeared.

have you tried placing some items, save the game, leave the lot and re-enter it? is there still no furniture?then I unfortunately do not know what to do. If it has appeared however, I suggest running all the batch fixes from sims 4 studio http://sims4studio.com/  you have to register, but it is a very handy program to have. Run the fixes, it will take some time if you have loads of content, and try your game again. Good luck.

yeah im having the same issue too; placing items makes them dissapear, in which i can place item after item in the same exact place. this happens in any world i go to, apartment or house, etc etc.

Any solution for this issue? I stopped playing sim 4 because of this. I cant place any object in my house or anywhre in the world.

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator (in quick scan mode) and post the result here.
