Master Suite Help.[SOLVED]
I followed the ultimate fix to the letter and now when i try to open the launcer i get his
Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x00000000.
Do you wish to debug it ?
Im so lost, i came here because of a disc authorization failure.
I have the base game downloaded off amazon so the file paths are all the same, i have disc copies of late night, ambitions, and generations. The rest i downloaded from demonoid.
Help? Im at my wits end here.

Hello,
I'm just going to think out loud here, wondering if this is the MAC version of "service initialization failure" we've been seeing a lot of in the PC section.
Did you get the MAC version of the fix?

I got the mac version and it finally fixed itself but now i have an issue where whenever i try to load a sim from the bin, or im in build and buy mode, the game will raise a similar error and crash, leaving me without the ability to really customize lots or buy new things :/
//EDIT
I found tons of stuff for fixing this problem in windows but nothing for mac :/
I just cleared my cache files and removed custome content and im going to back up my sims 3 folder and delete it and restart the game, fingers crossed.

Hello,
When did you download it? The mac fix was also updated after the release of Master Suite stuff.

I just downloaded it yesterday.
Ive installed it twice with the fix now but i keep getting this
Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000000 at address 0x7c471054.

Whenever im trying to buy or build. Its liek the game works perfectly fine up untill that point, and not being able to buy or build defeats the purpose of the game.
Ive been talking to ea support but they are so useless.

Hello,
They are notorious for their lack of support. And I doubt they could -or want to- help you at all since you illegally downloaded some of it.
What you're describing sounds like the "unofficial game modification" error many of our pc-users get when they start the game. That error also makes the game start just fine, but crashes it in build/buy mode.
Did you, at any point, apply a crack for Master Suite stuff?

Nope, i did a complete clean uninstall and reinstall and only put the files in from the ultimate fix i found here.
I didnt think anything of it but i do get this popup during the game start up
It looks like you have installed an unofficial game modification that does not match your current version of The Sims 3. We recommend that you either uninstall these game modifications or get updated versions of them – otherwise you may experience crashes or significant bugs.
Do you want to quit?
But i have the most recent updated version of the games and of the ultimate fix.

Hello,
I don't know if this applies to MAC, but you'd assume...
Did you restart your computer at all before you proceeded to reinstall after you uninstalled everything?

Actually i figured it out, when i went to update in step 11, i thought the popup with the sims store patch was the update, but my game was still in version 1.20.something so i downloaded the manual patch and it works fantastic now (: thanks so much!
