I recently procured a 64bit laptop and started installing the sims 4. I installed it the way i did on my 32bit old laptop and it was installed in program filesx86. My question is, i read online that the 32bit programmes get installed in the programfiles x86, will it affect my gameplay if i have it installed there as well? Or it doesnt matter as long as i run the 64bit game?

Doesn't matter where it's installed. TS4.exe is 32-bit, TS4_x64.exe is 64-bit. Use the second one.
