Requirements/Contents


You should install this patch, after having installed "Tiny Living" from G4TW (refer to this guide for details), or from another repacker-group.

The download is 4.02GB in filesize, includes all 18 language strings, and a complete "Game"-subfolder, as always.



"ISP warning"

For all of you digital internet travelers out there, a warning for the following countries is issued.

- America
- Canada
- Australia
- The United Kingdom
- New Zealand
- France
- Germany
- and probably a few other Western satellite states (Italy and Spain seem "on the ball" lately)

If you happen to torrent the item using your internet while being in one (or more) of these countries, you risk a termination of your internet subscription, and maybe severe fines too. If that happens, then whatever further consequences you may face are out of our hand, and it will be solely within your responsibility to make the necessary arrangements. In general, make an effort to actively inform yourselves about the situation in your own home-country regarding torrenting, as the above-listed countries are by no means an exhaustive listing; these countries are just your "usual suspects" in that regard. Use a paid VPN service like NordVPN, VPN.ac, Windscribe or ProtonVPN to cover your activities.

And note that these services are just recommendations. There's many more decent VPN services out there. As long as the basics of the VPN provider are present (privacy-friendly jurisdiction/location of company headquarters, DNS leak protection, killswitch, no-logs-policy) you're good to go with any VPN service that supports torrenting.

"Does it have to be a paid VPN service???" Yes, it does, because free ones are not going to cover your properly. VPN services are aware of the fact that more and more countries don't allow torrenting, and they want to exploit these trends, by offering P2P-capability only on paid plans.

Even if you use a VPN, try not to connect to servers located in the above-mentioned countries...if at all possible with your particular VPN service.

"Normal" G4TW repacks = for people who show up regularly here

"Global Patch" = for people who show up here once or twice a year, or less than that.

The Global Patch is by definition bigger in download size than our normal repacks, because we pack ALL update files in it. Not just the ones that change from one patch version to the next (as we do in our normal downloads). So using the Global Patch, the people who don't regularly follow the platform can fast-track their updating process, without resorting to the multi-step TS4 Must-Read Guide.

I was hoping to download this on top of my game that is updated before Discover University came out.
But I see I need to have my game updated up till Tiny Living which is a problem for me, cause I am waiting to install University for a few months to get my story ready in the game. Aging off won't work as I play rotational generations and need all my sims to be old enough to attend Uni.
But I also need the updates to place certain houses in the game
Any advice here on what solutions I have to deal with this?

I'm having a problem with the direct download. Around the 3.9 to 4.0 GB mark I get an error that it can't be downloaded or the download was interrupted or failed. I've tried several times with different browsers. With Chrome I get an error right off the bat that It can't be downloaded. With Edge and Yandex I get the interruption. I also tried to download to my google drive and got a failed error (out of disk space). My drive is saying that I am using 6.9 GB out of 15 even though I have nothing else on the google drive (all folders and trash are empty) and my download folder on my PC has over 170 GB free. Any suggestions on how I can finish the direct download and how I can clear my google drive?

If you properly imported the item to your GoogleDrive (import/add to drive + "make a copy"!), then I would have suggested that you try downloading at a later point again. Or try using a download manager such as JDownloader2, maybe that could also help.

If it's properly imported to your GoogleDrive, the item will stay there, as long as you yourself don't delete it. Therefore you can bypass that error named "too many people have viewed or downloaded this file". But as a secondary advantage, you can download it anytime, as it makes you independent of the original source download, in case it really gets taken down.

While I'm at it, and this is a general comment for everybody to read and acknowledge. If you have a good VPN or you live in a torrenting-friendly country, then please use the torrent straight away. Of course, in the end you can choose as you please. But the direct download is primarily intended for people who can't afford a VPN, or live in torrenting-hostile countries such as America, Canada, and whatever else there is ...

People have had these issues in the past, so it's indeed a good idea to try again in a day or two.

Additional tip: ProtonVPN has a free plan without data limits, but you cannot use it for torrenting. If you use the free ProtonVPN for 'normal internet usage', and keep your Windscribe data only for torrenting these Sims (4) updates, then you should be fine. Or maybe that is what you already did...?

In theory you could also familiarize yourself with the new format of repacks here, though you end up with having to download more data, because of the way the new patch is compiled:

I'm kinda in the same boat as Shane here, but more of a "usually direct dl but the tiny living patch was taken down early/same day I came for it" bank. And because no one volunteered an alt direct for tiny living, now I'm falling out of date. From what I can tell of the new format, and what other people have posted about their experience, it seems like I would have to essentially clean start and build back up from the new format? At least, that seems like it would cause the least issues anyway. I do have to say it was easier to know when everything updated when you said so on twitter a few years ago.

I finally got it to work after a few more tries. I tried the direct download from my google drive from a different email address and got the same error (failed because of disk space even though I have over 170GB free) and tried the Jdonwnloader and got the same invalid directory error again. I changed the director location for Jdownloader and that worked for some reason.
I have a SSD and a micro SD card that I use as my main download location just to save some wear on the SSD. I would not think that it should make any difference where it is downloaded to.
As for your other tip, I have been using ProtonVPN for downloads and Windscrirbe for torrents. I just happen to use up too much of my Windscribe this month otherwise I would have used the torrent.

You must not use the Anadius installer but the Anadius dlc-toggler instead.

I'm sorry but the no-origin-fix file is not a part of the dlc-toggler but of the anadius installer.
The toggler will never show missing files, it only shows installed (white/grey items) or not installed folders (marked in red)

I'm not sure if that picture added but every time I open the dlc toggler it tells me that it could not read crack config files. This new method is super confusing to me. I'm used to just downloading the rar files, the instsaller and having it add the dlcs to my game. I've read everything on the page. Not sure what I'm doing wrong because Im following the tutorial on the page.

Do you still have the download for University or Tiny Houses ?
If yes, then delete the folder Game from your existing installation folder of the Sims 4
Copy the folder Game from 1 of the above downloads (pref. Tiny Houses) to your installation folder.
Then try the toggler again.

Uhh yeah I downloaded university and tiny houses. I don't have any game folders in them. So I'm confused at this point on what I'm doing wrong and the all in one is way to big for me to try and use. So at this point I'm totally 100% lost on this new method and I'm not tryna bother you all day but thanks anyways.

Have you extracted these downloads for University or Tiny Houses with 7-zip ?
Every correctly downloaded and extracted DLC contains a folder Game besides the usual __Installer, Data, Delta, Support and the folders for ALL the DLC's

What you show me is the contents of the folder SP16

In the first post of this page where we are on now you can download a folder Game.
It's is just a small file, some 300 MB.
Download it, extract with 7-zip.
Delete the existing folder Game from your installation folder.
Copy the just downloaded and extracted folder by right-clicking on it and select Copy
Then go to an open space in your installation folder, right click again and select Paste
Make absolutely sure that you do not accidentally paste that Game-folder into a folder with another name.
