No Torrent Sources for Update 1.53.115.1020

Is the torrent offline? I've tried to access multiple times now and I keep getting the same message: No sources found. I'd prefer to torrent over Google Drive if possible!

Hello and welcome to the Forum,

A torrent can only 'go offline' if it has no seeders (anymore). But that situation will only last until at least one person with the complete source download, decides to seed (= upload) again. Not really the case with our The Sims-releases, because those have plenty of volunteer seeders.

Where exactly are you seeing that error, is it within your torrent client? Right now I'm seeing 51 seeds for the torrent in question, and about 170 downloaders. I use the client "qBittorent". Did you properly configure your torrent client? Like, did you activate the DHT-option? See this guide for a first introduction.

If you have another client than uTorrent, then try applying the settings shown there to whatever client you are using.

Strange - I was using Vuze and it worked for everything except this one. All good with Utorrent though!

Ah...only now I'm getting an error message when trying to start the game:

Unable to start: Cannot start because the below file appears to be corrupted. Please repair or reinstall the game via Origin.

The file is ...The Sims 4\EP07\ClientFullBuild0.package

Should I try to redownload the update and re copy + paste?

Hmm just tried to reinstall and same problem 

Go to Documents\Electronic Arts and move The Sims 4 folder to desktop. This will start the game fresh, you can move saves back later. If that doesn't solve the problem, run the validator and post the result here.

And as for your problem with downloading the torrent - there are no trackers added to the torrent so it relies on DHT and Peer Exchange. You probably have it disabled in Vuze.

Delete those "unknown files" and run validator again. This time uncheck "quick scan".

If under "hash mismatch" you get files from "EP07" folder (and you probably will basing on that error message) - download and install Island Living using my repack. If you get files from "Delta", "Data" or "Game" folders, download and install the patch 1.53.115.1020 using my repack.

You could also redownload Island Living from G4TW, apply it, and then apply 1.53.115.1020 again, it's just matter of how much you have to download:
- "The Sims 4 - Island Living.7z" from G4TW weights 7.64GB; if you deleted the update already that's additional 5.56GB,
- latest patch and Island Living from my repack weights in total 5.26GB.

The stuff under "unknown files" are remnants from older G4TW The Sims 4 releases, and you can safely remove those. As for that other file (EP07\ClientFullBuild0.package)...yes, that is part of the Island Living release. And if you don't have it anymore, you indeed should re-download the pack.
