Can i update sims 4 from ver. 1.42.30.1020 to the latest 1.46.18.1020 instantly?

Hi,
I was wondering if i could update my sims 4 game from ver. 1.42.30.1020 to ver. 1.46.18.1020 without the DLCs? Or do i need to download a new sims 4 base game? I just want the base game, i don't really want the SP, GP, EP.
