quick help question about sims 3

so i downloaded through utorrent all the .rar files for expansions and the base game. then i installed the base game using serial without cracking. im going to use ultimate fix to be safe so i dont get errors, so again i dont crack anything like it says. but when i go to install sims 3 world adventures, it says the game needs updated so its gonna try. i dont wanna try this just yet, and im wondering if i should crack with crack from ultimate fix, from the folder i installed from, or not crack it at all until i update it. im planning on using the launcher to update it. and if i have to crack it do i have to do anything special with the sims 3 ultimate fix since i feel doing this before installing all my expansion packs is gonna mess something up

You are meant to say yes to updating it. It doesn't update the whole game just the expansion (the update is in the download so it does not download anything), after you have installed all expansions and said yes to updating if they ask, Update your whole game through the game launcher or manual patch then paste the crack from the ultimate fix to the correct spot.
