Endless Loading Screen. [SOLVED] Empty Endless Loading Screen. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Mon 28 Oct 2019, 07:48

Hello,

So, I have downloaded all the Sims 4 packs, and fixes (in the right order), and even renamed all games files before copying the next package. The game was working just fine but after the Magic Realm pack the game is stuck at an endless loading screen.

I downloaded the fix that came after it but it is still the same.

What happens is basically everything opens, create a sim, the world and everything, but when I move my Sim in, I am met with an endless loading screen. ( I even left it to load and went to do other things after 30 minutes or so, still loading!)

I don't have any extra mods or anything, and I even deleted all my saved games (even the whole electronic arts file), and ran the game as an administrator. It is allowed through my firewall, and I recently even deleted my anti virus, but the game wont start.

What should I do? I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall it!!

Welcome to the G4TW Forums @Rero96 and sorry for the slightly belated reply,

Let's try this at first. You said you downloaded the fix that came after Realm of Magic? OK.

Go to where you installed your Sims 4 game. Delete (again) your "Game"-subfolder. Then you take the "Game"-subfolder that is included with the Realm of Magic-hotfix, and put it within your installation folder of The Sims 4. Try running the game after that and see what happens.

If it still refuses to load, we'll have to see and try other stuff. But for now that shall do - hopefully. Good luck and keep us posted!

I tip my fedora.
