Glowing ring around the neck after using earbuds.

Does anyone know why my girl has a glowing ring around her neck? It started when she got earbuds. I've taken it off of her and even put it in the world and not her inventory. Any help is appreciated...

I was not sure what else to say earlier, so I left it at that. Did that problem only appear after you put on that necklace? Or was it there earlier?

I've cleared the cache, deleted the resource file, updated to 1.56, updated all mods & cc's, double checked with rebooted laptop, and started the game. It was still there. I even removed everything from her. All of this started after I bought the earbuds (came w/game) and she wore them for about a day. Uploading more pix...

i can't edit my post but i meant to say that i double checked with ModConflictDetector and also MTS TS4 Package Conflict Detector by scumbumbo and found no problems...

Hello, sorry that you are having issues with them. According to SimGuruGraham it seems to be a bug, which will be addressed, although is not happening to everyone the earbuds are causing issues. In my experience with bugs and Sims4, you may have corrupted the save by using them. My suggestion is to go do an earlier save, before the problem appeared. If you do not have other saves, try reseting this particular sim in CAS and see if that works.

sorry for the late reply. so, grieralexander and the_ghostm4n, thank you for the suggestions. I've reloaded the game minus the mods/cc's and the same thing happens with everyone that I've worn earbuds with. I have earlier saves (but I don't wanna use cuz I've put in a lot of work) and I don't wanna reset her in CAS (cuz I'm very lazy). Actually, It's kinda growing on me...

If you suspect it's savefile-related, you can take out your current saves temporarily, and then test your old/backup saves. Then see if you experience the same issues. Your saves are under Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves.

yea, but in my old saves they haven't bought the earbuds yet. Every household that I got earbuds for, that ring thing happened. BUT, I am just now installing the patch (thank you very much btw) and I will test your theory about the old saves, order the earbuds and see if it happens then. Thanks!!!

okay, so after the update to 1.58.69.1010, i removed the tray, saves, and mods folder and started a new game (didn't have a choice huh? ), i ordered the earbuds and played music. after about 3 sim days, no ring. so i guess it is either my mods or cc... apparently i didn't do something right the last time i checked. Thanks for all the help!!!

Next step: move your "saves"-folder now back into the freshly-created "The Sims 4"-folder under Documents\Electronic Arts, and test your old save once more. See if the glowing ring still shows up there.
