Help please
I might be placing this in the wrong section but I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I've been having with my game. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but ever since I installed Discover University, whenever I split up a household and move a sim, or sims, out to a non-University lot, it will show as if they went traveling, allowing me to bring them to the residential lot or care for themselves.

Re: Help please
.
This is already a known bug, it should have been taken care of with the newest patch, but obviously They did not . I've read various complaints in the Ea forums, however they are not offering a straight solution. Some guru's are sugesting installing a Control mod; however, I personally do not recommend it because I installed a game control mod and it gave me nothing but trouble, besides they were extremely rude when I asked for support stating they did not give mod support to pirated games. You may try to start on a regular lot and then send a Sim to University, it has worked for some people while others say it still bugs their gameplay. Another suggestion is searching for an autonomy mod that has been updated to the latest patch and see if that can fix it. Sorry I was not able to help you moreVintageFan007 wrote:I might be placing this in the wrong section but I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem I've been having with my game. I'll just add here (and this will be mostly relevant for new users), that if you need to ask for Support on mods, bear in mind that virtually nobody out there supports pirated games. If you mention it yourself, you will be treated very badly. Or, they will try and ask you for "details" like certain logs, and if they see that the logs show an outdated game version, then you will be treated badly again.
Best bet is to just say you have an Origin-version of the game. And do not ask for mod Support unless your pirated game is up on the same patch level as Origin games.
Many people make such an art & science out of these whole "last exception logs" and related issues, but I don't think there's much behind. Either a mod works for a given patch version, or it doesn't. Without the need for asking about further Support from the creator. And again: these modders usually have agendas of their own, and that's OK, as it's their prerogative. G4TW has certain agendas as well.
If you're confronted with mod issues, at some point you will have to do the routine of checking your mods and combination of mods (!!), one-by-one.
