Sim complete package. [SOLVED]

I have the same problem. I downloaded the file [The Sims 1 : Complete Collection] with FrostWire, and extracted it with WinRAR. Everything is OK until the game starts. But, as previously said, the expansion packs load again, again, again...

First I extracted everything, and at the end of the operation, I copied the crack to the Maxis/Sims etc folder. I will check again that it is the good folder, but there is really no reason for it not to work !

EDIT : I chose "French" language instead of English, is it possible that it infers with the crack?

Yes, some people have this problem, but I'm clueless too.
See whether your PC can run the game without any problems: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/

Also, try restarting your PC, changing the game's resolution and stuff like that.

Uhum, Windows 7 didn't exist when the game was created, so it is not sure that it works properly with it.

I installed it on another computer, and it works perfectly ! And this computer uses Windows XP. So it may be the problem.

It should work fine on Windows 7, as I tested it myself.
What about all your other system's hardware, did they "pass"?

The other programms I use work normaly, there is never been a problem.

Did you do the test from the link I sent you? It'll show you whether your PC's hardware can actually handle the game.

Yes, I tested, and the only thing that was perhaps wrong is Windows 7.


Arr I do not understand what I did wrong.
Extract the hole Sims folder.
Run "Start" (the .exe doesn't appear)
Install (I choose language, Key is OK, and at the end it opens the starting page with "Play, Visit the Website, Quit...So I quit)
In the Sims folder, copy the file which is in the Crack folder, and put it in : Programm x86, Maxis, The Sims.
It replaces the former one.

And then start the game.

I assume you already tried uninstalling, restarting your PC and then reinstall the game. If not, try it now, please.

Still not working, even after uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling....

It may function one day, but for the moment it seems useless to insist. Thank you for the help you provided, and all your patience !
