Late Night expansion?

Hello , I want to ask about the the ultimate fix for the sims 3 .I have installed the late night expansion from other torrent and it is not uploaded by game4theworld.Will the ultimate fix work in other late night expansion torrent?

Hello,
As long as you have Generations, Town Life Stuff, Pets or Master Suite stuff, the fix will work, none of your games have to be G4TW releases, as long as they're not modified installers.

By the way, after copying the ultimate fix into the sims 3 base game and applying the crack, the launcher has stopped working.

The problem fixed after i use the expansion(Master Suite Stuff) launcher however the base game is not working ?My base game version is 11.0.84.014001. Is it the latest version ??

Hello,
The base game is always working, or you wouldn't be able to start the game at all. Perhaps you're trying to start the game from the wrong location. Are you trying to start the launcher from a desktop shortcut? You can try it from the base game bin.

Did you try bypassing the launcher? This seems more like a launcher fail.

Yes, it works by clicking TS3W.exe but not TS3.exe.

Hello,
That's what's its supposed to do. The TS3.exe stopped working when they changed the way it works when Generations was released.
I never use the launcher myself since it takes minutes to actually start it from the moment I click the icon and 1/3 the time the launcher crashes as I hit the "play" button. Using the TS3W is much faster, I'm actually almost at the main menu by the time the launcher would've responded.
I don't think there's much you can do to prevent the launcher from crashing, and you don't really need it at all since you can update manually and there are other ways to install store and custom content.

By the meaning of updating manually, did you mention about the 1.29update.exe provided by admin ?
