The Sims 2 Utimate Collection not working, help!

Hi,

I installed The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection acording to the instructions but I get an error that says "The Sims 2 is not installed on this system, or some required files have been deleted...". I've repeated the steps like 4 times and still get the same message. I tried the other solution that the installation guide gives of going to the registry editor but I can't find the folder that it asks for.

Is there any solution?

The most obvious source of error is that you mistyped the parameters in the 'silent installer'. Consider moving your TS2 folder directly under C:\Program Files, and just copy-paste the example parameter that we posted inside the included installation guide.

Another possible source of error is you applied the No-CD-Origin fix before having run the silent installer, which is wrong to do. You must have the original Sims2EP9.exe inside your TS2 folder, otherwise the silent installer doesn't work. We've provided the original Sims2EP9.exe within a folder of the same name, included in the .rar download file. So please copy that original Sims2EP9.exe, and paste it under C:\Program Files\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSBin. Replace the existing file when prompted, and try the silent installer again. If - at that point - you are confident that you set the parameters correctly in the silent installer, you can then apply the cracked Sims2EP9.exe file (located inside the # Crack-folder). Then your game will hopefully work.

There are situations in which the error can also be caused by you running these "system maintenance tools" like CCleaner. In the .rar download file there are also "backup registry entries" which you can import (double-click on the .reg => confirm all pop-up windows). Then try the game again.
