Mass Effect installer has stopped working

Hey guys,

Downloaded your Mass Effect 1 off TPB and when I go to install it stops working after I put in the CD key with only the error message of "Mass Effect Installer has stopped working" with no >>more button. Only a cancel button. I have no idea how to fix this, my computer is WELL beyond the recommended settings. Any known fixes to this?

I used winRAR to extract. Using the extract all button and also a click and drag. I have tried multiple times to extract in different directories and it's not solving my issue. I have tried running in administrator, compatibility for XP and Vista and disabled my UAC as well.

Could you please post a screenshot of the actual .rar file opened? (Not the extracted files)

Okay, I downloaded a different torrent, this time as a full image and it still comes up with the same problem. It's something to do with my computer/configuration. What could be causing such an issue

Also, when I try to run the Autorun I get an XML error "Error: switch from current encoding to specified encoding not supported. Line 1, Column 40 inter XML settings"

Would re-downloading the Games4theworld version be a big issue?
