Unofficial Game Modification. [SOLVED]

Hello,

I installed the sims 3 game with generations and late night, don't have any mods and i'm pretty sure i applied the ultimate fix correctly, but when i run the game it says something about the usual unofficial game modification, then i just press the windows key and press continue, but when it's at the end of the loading bar at the "generations boot screen" if that's what you call it and it gives me this (see image)



it's dutch, it means something like "sims 3 stopped working"

Can somebody please help me?

Never mind, i think it has something to do with that when going to step 10 of the ultimate fix it updates my version to 1.31 which doesn't work yet right?

i cleared registry with ccleaner and reinstalled the games, didn't apply any cracks. then did the ultimate fix and did the manual patch to 1.29 and everything went as expected, but when i open it now, either with the launcher, ts3.exe or ts3w.exe it gives the error: "base game is incompatible with the current expansion" or something like that.

Please open your game's launcher and hover your mouse over the base game icon in the lower-left corner of the screen. What version does it show? It starts with 1.xx.x.

it says 1.29.55.014002

yes they are, but it's normal that my launcher says that there is an update for 1.31 right?

sorry if i'm too pushy but i really wanna play the game

but i don't have the update, because i have 1.29 like i said and that one is compatible. i did, but i didn't do a registry clear after the uninstall that time, should that do it then?

yes i know but i tried reinstalling a couple times, the only time i could actually play was the first time i installed it and that was without the ultimate fix, but after i wanted to install some custom content it never worked again , but i'll try for the last time and if it doesn't work i will wait for the 1.31 crack

Please use this method:

1. Open My Documents.
2. Navigate to: Documents\Electronic Arts\
3. You'll see a folder called "The Sims 3".
4. Drag & drop this folder to your Desktop and remove it from Documents.
5. Now restart your game.

it's working now i think , i reinstalled everything, restarted my computer and then i installed them in the order of release and then replaced the crack from the ultimate fix without doing the update and now it's on version 1.28 and working
