Sims crashing after installing Master Suite Stuff Empty Sims crashing after installing Master Suite Stuff

I have just gotten the new expansion, I have tried everything even a complete reinstall. I have completely removed The Sims 3 folder from my documents and let it restart that, and when I removed that it removed all of my custom content and mods. And all of my saves are pulled as well. I have all the stupid settings turned down. and before it was crashing at the town loading but something I did worked for a minute and it let me make a family, but when I tried to move them into a house it crashed. Restarted my laptop, and tried again moved them into the house, and it crashed again. I have googled my brains out all day (I literally feel like they are leaking from my ears) I can find nothing. I have my game completely updated and patched and such. the launcher doesn't crash. And I think I have it all added to the DEP exceptions correctly. I don't know what else to do, apart from giving up. I have applied the Ultimate fix, and followed all instructions properly. I don't know what else to do. Up to Pets it worked just fine.

I also did that "Can you run it" test thing and it said everything was alright.

RAAAAAAAR :/

Hello,
So these problems started after you installed Master Suite stuff. Did you, at that time apply the crack from the download itself?

Yeah I did, and it wouldn't work at all. So I completely uninstalled, and started with the base game. Tried just that, and now my launcher wont work, and if i bypass the launcher, it works for a few minutes and crashes. I have never experienced any sort of crashing prior to attempting to install Master suite stuff.

*clearly after all this went down I gave up on it for a bit lol but i want to playyyy. Very Happy I am going to move everything off my computer and reformat and see if that helps. Fingers crossed. Very Happy

Hello,
I hope you didn't because that is a lot of work to solve something that could be so easily fixed by applying the fix, though I have to tell you not to update to version 1.32, stick to 1.31. The fix is here and a manual patch for version 1.31 can be found here.
