The Sims 3 Ambitions - Launcher Problem. [SOLVED]

Hello there,

I just downloaded Ambitions for The Sims 3, and when I try to open the launcher I get a message that says "There was an error during startup. Please see the Log for more details." . I tried applying the ulimate fix, but that didnt seem to help either.. Some help would be really appreciated

I have Pets, Generations, Master Suite, Late Night, High End Loft and World adventures installed aswell, so no its not my only one

No, the starting error is fixed, but my game crashes, so much. I can barely play anymore..

i deleted most of my custom content, i only have a few left.. no mods

Please go to Documents\Electronic Arts and drag & drop the "The Sims 3" folder to your Desktop and remove it from Documents.
Now, restart the game and tell me the result.

Tell us which is your base game version that you updated to.

thats your launcher version your base game is located here...... hover your mouse over the base game symbol where the arrow point

No samantha the base game version will show when you pass the mouse over the first icon on the launcher. You are providing me an EP version number.
Your base game version should be 1.24.---; 1.26.----, 1.29.----; 1.31.---- or 1.32---- This is the one that will let us know which patch level are you up to. Also you may find your version here:[img][/img]
This will help the ADmin or others to help you better.

OK, another question to pinpoint this further. DId you update your Origin account. Iam not asking you to do it, I just need to know if you have it installed and updated it.

But you have it installed, The reason that I am asking is that Origin makes the game crash during gameplay after patch 1,31, also if the online store option is on, crashes due to Origin. Some People are not even able to update Origin. I removed it since Pets, I do get the screen not able to conect to Origin at the beginning, but other than that I've had not miss this EAs sidekick

Should I just try uninstalling Origin?
