No new traits or LTR with Pets installation?[SOLVED]

Just installed Pets. Everything seemed to be working fine until I tried to select traits and there are no new Pets related traits for sims. Also, there are no lifetime rewards associated with pets available to buy. help?

Hello,
From the top of my head, I would say this is caused by a conflicting mod. So try this:
Go to my documents\electronic arts\the sims 3 and back up your mods folder. Copying it to the desktop will do for now. When that's done, delete the mods folder from my documents\electronic arts\the sims 3 and start your game.
If it works, look at your mods and see if they are compatible with your game version, mods often need to be updated, especially with pets.
