The sims 3 update 1.31 error

When i downloaded your manual patch of 1.31 from the first step of the 1.32 manual patch I press the .exe file and this appears.

The patch worked but the i got the invalid file error. So then i uninstalled everything reinstalled the Sims 3 base game update it to 1.31 the 1.32 and it work then i reinstalled everything.
