Simcity 4 crashes. [SOLVED]

Once in awhile while I am playing simcity 4 my computer just shuts off.... Does anyone know what is causing it... It never did it til I loaded this game... any help is very much appreciated... thanks

i ran it and it said i have passed all the recommended requirements... im just so stunned on why my computer would be just shutting off in the middle of nowhere when im on sims...

Ok, please try the following:

- Update your Graphic Card's Drivers. If that didn't work, try the following:

*Backup your SaveGames

1. Uninstall the Game.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall the Game.
4. See if it works.

heya, i also got the crash problem. I installed simcity4 and when i play it for a while the game crash.. i tried to reinstall the game but it still dont fix the problem... by the way i also run the link you provide and i pass the recommended requirements....

nope, i dint get any error..it closed by itself( i mean crash)..

First try to Update the Game and find a new Crack for it.

If this didn't work, it's the problem that EA knows about, but they don't have a fix for it. I recommend you try the Updating first and just tell us the result.

I think you're confused with The Sims 3; this is SimCity 4 Deluxe.

You find the Patch here: http://simcity.ea.com/update/index_update.php?product=EP1&x=34&y=10
Look to which version you're Updating and then, after Updating, download a new, working Crack for that version of the Game.

I download the update and patch it.. ( SKU 1)
i can start the game without new crack...
If i get a problem, i will tell you...
