help with 2 issues please.[SOLVED]

OK the two problems im having is firstly folder 11 with all the store updates, I copied all the sim.ini files to my download folder in users (my name) ea/sims 3/downloads folder but none are listed in sims 3 launcher, Even if I double click on the sim.ini files none apear in the launchers downloads or installed section. Secondly I cannot load a saved game, comes up with a serios error messege and askes me to relaunch but still get the same error so I havnt been able to sucsessfully load a saved game as of yet.
I installed the all up to towns stuff which btw doesnt show on the sims as active so not sure if I have some issue with that also.

Go to your Documents do you click the Documents icon on the left side of your window under Libraries?

Ok dueto earlier issues I had followed a guide that suggested changing al exe files in all sim bin files, main game and all add ons to a different compatability, I have changed all those now to win 7 and now have sucsessfully opened sims 3 launcher and installed all the additional content. Going to start a new game again and then save and see if i can load it up after save to see if its fixed my other issue.
if it does i just need to then look around the forums for lunar lakes, pets addon and showtime and work out how I add those and crack game again.
