thesims3.com help? [SOLVED]

alright, so i just downloaded sims 3: showtime from here and i desperately want to send my sim on tour. but sadly, i have no friends on my sims 3 account and the only way i can get friends is if i register my game. but i dont have the legitimate game, everything i have that is sims-related is from g4tw. i tried using the serial generator and enter a random code, but it wouldn't work, it'd give me an error. is there any way at all i can activate the game on the website so i can just send my sim on tour?!
oh, and sorry if this is in the wrong section, i have no clue where else i can put this...

Hello,
You won't be able to use Simport to send and receive sims if you don't have any registered games, and registrationcode's can only be used once so there's no way to use one that you generated.
You can register for an account without registered games, but the social features are limited.
You only need 1 registered game though, and it doesn't matter which one, so getting a stuff pack for $9.99 will be enough for you to use it to its full capacity.

That's correct, you need at least 1 original game.
