Sims 3 Base Compatibility with Expansion Packs
I originally downloaded the The Sims 3- Reloaded base game and, later on, downloaded the Games4theworld expansion packs (Ambitions and Fast Lane). I've installed the base and the expansion packs with no problem but I constantly get CTD problems whenever I play a Sim household and the first Sim action bubble appears.
Are the Games4theworld expansion pack downloads compatible with the Sims 3 reloaded base? If not, is there a way to make them compatible? I would like to avoid re-downloading the Sims 3 base game since it would take almost a full day of continuous downloading to get the games4the world base. Thanks.

Hello,
No, they should work fine together. What does CTD mean?
What is the problem exactly? Try to run the Game on lowest settings.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. The game loads up fine and I'm able to progress through the main game loading screen and the neighborhood loading screen without a problem. When I select a household to play and the camera zooms in to the household everything is fine until a household Sim tries to do something (like walk somewhere, interact with the fridge, etc) and the game suddenly crashes to the desktop without warning or an error message.
Before installing the expansion packs, the game ran fine without any problems, so I'm thinking the expansion packs and the cracks might have affected the base game in some way. I've run the game on the lowest settings possible and the game still crashes to the desktop after I enter a Sim household. Any ideas on what to do next?
P.S.: Sorry about the lack of clarification on my previous post.
