GTA V (5) coming soon!

Hi all,

This is obviously strange, because GTA V hasn't been announced to the public yet. I hope we'll see GTA V in 2010, because it's a great game, great story and GREAT graphics. All with all a good game!

I always look forward to the GTA series. I wasn't a big fan of Vice City or San Andreas. I'm surprised to hear about it this soon. I was expecting it to be released in late 2011, early 2012. I'm not entirely sure, but hey you never know. Do you know if it'll take place in Liberty City again??

Well, there's not much information about the Game, because it hasn't been announced by Rockstar Games yet, but it'll maybe be somewhere around "Hollywood" and the surrounding areas. We'll have to wait for more information, I'm afraid.

Actually it's been confirmed at E3 2010. If you go to the E3 Website or gamespot's website and look and find the lists of new games coming out, you'll see GTAV so yes it has been confirmed by rockstar at e3 although it is not officially announced on their site itself.

All that means is this means so far is that yes the game is in the works to continue the series which was already naturally assumed by most gamers and it also means that rockstar has not yet officially announced an expected date for release.

I concur that the game won't be out or at least leaked or truely revealed for another 2 maybe 3 years minimum...

Hmm.. Interesting.. I've always been a fan of the GTA franchise... Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Kind of a fail we thought it'd be released back in 2011.
New release date is somewhere begin 2013.
Rockstar already posted some (new!) screenshots on their blog!

Trust me, earliest we'll see GTA V is 2015. That's for consoles, for PC, god knows when... And the earliest gameplay video will probably be released ether shortly before release or never (if I remember correctly, the first GTA IV console gameplay video was actually the first review).

Rockstar's marketing technique consists of building hype up to the point where people no longer care weather the game is actually any good or not, and will buy it regardless. I'm not saying GTA V will suck hell no! Just that, much like GTA IV, it will be over-hyped.

I don't know if they bribe critics as well but I doubt it. Those idiots get hyped faster than we do.

Trust me, it'll be released in 2013.

It surely will be released in 2013, although I have a feeling that it's gonna be mid summer/fall, or else they would've gave out the release date for the game.

Just release the kraken. I can't no longer wait

Yeah, console is always first, which sucks.

Yup, it's a bit annoying that we PC guys always get left in the dust.
But I don't mind that much, as long as we get it at some point, and lets hope it won't to be GTA IV all over again = crappily optimized unplayable mess

Will probably take 6-12 months after the console releases until we get it.
