Deep fryer bug?[SOLVED]

Is there a fix for the deep fryer? I've heard of the bug on the Sims 3 forum. When I try to use the deep fryer, my sim gets excited and is shaking the basket, but no food ever comes out.

I had this problem , also with ice cream machine then my game crashed

Thank you! I just realized that I'm having the same problem with the ice cream maker. It makes the ice cream, but when I go to "Have some ice cream" nothing happens. This was more for an fyi, I'm very patient, and I'm sure a fix will come up soon. Thank you all, so much, for all the work that you do.

I'm having the same problem too. I looked on the Sims 3 official forums and found a mod that you can download that will fix it.

I read a couple pages and a couple people's tried and said it worked.
I just wanna know without a shadow of a doubt (i.e. from a trusted source like this wonderful site) it's going to work before I put it in the game.

That is what I have as well
Only I seem to have V10. I got it directly from the source.I'm going to test it today, if I can set myself to the task. I'll have to lol. I'll have news later today.

Hello,
That's good news, I'll test it myself and let Admin know. I believe this is a fix for all the store object bugs, so we may not need to spellbook fix or any of the other fixes.
I'm experiencing a major setback though, I had installed everything with cc magic but somehow it didn't work, so I'm in the process of installing my sims3packs manually with the launcher.
