Sims 3 Launcher doesn't load

Just downloaded Sims 3 and Ambitions EP. Put in correct cracks: replaced .exe but now my launcher isn't even loading!
What the sam hell is going on? Any fixes?
I had to uninstall my LEGAL copy of the base game just to get this far for Ambitions.

Well, I hope you made a backup of your SaveGames first.

The only thing I can recommend first:

1. Uninstall the Game all it's expansions.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall The Sims 3 and Update to the latest version.
4. Install WA. (Skip the steps where you have to apply the Updates from "Crack 3")
5. Install Ambitions.
6. Apply this fix: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/fixes-f18/the-sims-3-error-0x039e8474-fix-t451.htm#2754
7. See if it works now.

Do I have to install WA?

Also, I did make a backup of the games, but I'm not sure I did it correctly. I looked online and someone said to copy the folder in documents/ea/sims3, the whole one? So i did and then when I reinstalled sims 3 everything came up in Portuguese, and none of my saves turned up.

Well, it's not a múst, but it's worth trying it. If you don't want to waste your time Downloading the expansion, just skip it.
It's important to completely delete the Games before reinstalling them. Don't leave any traces.
