Katy Perry Sweet Treats (No disc found issue)

I have downloaded the Katy Perry Sweet Treat stuff pack and after spending a while figuring out how to install the pack I have been faced with the issue of the disc not being found when I try to launch the game, any suggestions on how I could fix this?

have you used the Ultimate Fix that is on this website?

Just found the ultimate fix and the game is now working but all the families that were on the game previously have disappeared along with the towns that were downloaded. Is that supposed to happen?

I don't know, I haven't downloaded the KP stuff as it doesn't really interest me... hopefully someone else can help you.

Didn't you back up the savegames?
They shouldn't disappear in the first place. Did you reinstall the base game too?
