TUTORIAL: Finding specific items on G4TW's Mediafire account.
Hello,
I've been finding a lot of objects on Mediafire lately for people who can't find them. It can be challenging, since a lot of the objects have names that can't be found on mediafire because the file name is so different.
Since it really doesn't have to be that complicated, I'm going to teach you a few ways to find these objects yourself.
Situation 1:
Lets use this set as an example.
-Open the page, and rightclick anywhere on the page (not the image) and click view page source from the menu that appears.
-Now look at the page source, what you're looking for is the filename, which can be completely different from the object name, which is why you couldn't find the object on mediafire in the first place.
-Go to G4TW's
mediafire account and use it's search function to type in (part of) the file name, and there's what you're looking for!
Situation 2:
Lets use this hairdo as an example, and lets say that, hypothetically, you've already tried the steps as described above, but you're unable to find what you seek.
Refresh the page a couple of times. It could look like this:
Navigate to that set's page and use the method as described above to find that set on mediafire. If you don't find it, refresh the page a few more times to see if what you're looking for is part of other sets (apparently they don't always show all the sets an item is part of) and you could find the following:
In which case you'll have to look no further than the "May 2011" store updates and download the may2011set.sims3pack.
G4TW's store updates collection is very complete, I'd dare say 99,9%, so there's little chance that an item really isn't there. If you still can't find it though, feel free to request the item and I'll look in to it.
As always:

As this is more or less obsolete, I have made the topic "un-sticky", and I will also close this now.

Hello Carlos,
I kept it open on purpose, because we wanted to "update" it for our new website, since the alternative names search method can be used there as well.
Mod edit: OK, sorry for that Admin. I'll undo the "changes" again.
