Sims 3 freezing when started up

I have seen this around the internet ever since I bought Sims 3 & Sims 3 late night expansion pack. Before I start, I just want to say that I bought the games from Walmart, and everything is legit. I installed the Sims 3 base game, then I installed the Late night expansion. When I went to play the game the launcher fezzes and I have to close the program. I was told to just uninstall origin, that works, but then of course, I can't update the game. I was ok with that for a bit.

Then tonight I wanted to download the Sims Medieval game through Origin which requires downloading it. Which means that I wouldn't be able to play the sims 3 or any of the expansions.

So, in the short. I want a way to fix this, and let me use Origin.

Ok, I installed Sims 3 Showtime. It's said on the fix that I don't need to install the cracks. I'm just making sure this is the case before I go ahead with the project.


Ok, I got Showtime to work without freezing. But now when I try to open the other versions ( Sims 3 base game & Late night for exaple) Showtime starts up instead of the other games. Is there a way where I can have multiple versions?

Also, after I start up the game and try to load my Sim's profile, it just keeps loading without progressing, the bar doesn't fill.

With having multiple expansions/ stuff packs, the game automatically pulls the data from the most recently created one for the loading screen. You still have all the other packs that you've gotten, they just aren't the loading screen detail now.

Nope, I thought it was but it's just a tad slow with loading.

Nope, no custom content or mods just Late night and Showtime.
