Logging into the Sims 3 Store In Game

Hello,
I'm new to G4TW. (hi, lol) I downloaded The Sims 3 and all the expansion packs perfectly and don't have any problems running the game. However, I would like to access achievements and such but I can't because for some reason it says my e-mail and password is wrong. But when I log into thesims3.com from my browser, it's perfectly fine. Help?

What if you log in via the game's launcher first? (Prior to actually starting the game)

Yea, I thought that would work too but then when I started the game it asked me to log in again.

There isn't a typo. For some reason I just can't seem to log on, no matter what.

Are you using any mods or cc? It seems like a long stretch, but if you are, try running the game without them, and test logging in then.
