CRC ERORR

i installed Sims 3 Correctly but when i tryed to install the sims 3 pets Expansion pack every thing went smoothly till i got a this: CRC error:The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3Pets\GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild0_p10.package doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from whitch you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor.
i pressed ignore and i thought it worked but ..but as the sims was working fine anything to do with the pets Expansion didnt work...
so i re installed it and now it says it again.
what can i do to resolve this issue

i did extract it with winzip...
was there any parts within the pets folder in witch has to be extracted? like the data 1 and data 2 parts...it says i can unzip it i dont know if i should or just leave it?
plus the fullBuild1_p10.package file inside the packeges folder ...is the one not working i dont know if i leave that alone or if i can un pack it because that is a package file?....
i really dont know whats wrong
but it seems that i already moved the contents in the #crack from the sims 3 pets to the bin folder of the sims 3 base game so does that mean i have to re download it ?
im just very confused >.<

Hello,
No the files in the fix won't cause this. But you have to extract the rar file you downloaded with winRAR. After that, you don't have to extract anything. But these errors occur because you used winzip, the files have been messed up during the extraction process.

so that means i have to re extract both the base game and pets using WinRAR ...? ill try it
