a question about store fix
okay i downloaded the fix form your media fire good work guys by the way
i read the installtions guide but I didnt seem to be understand it well sorry I'm abit stupid at this stuff
there's four files in the rar one of them is cmerged the guide said like this
If you’re using .Sims3Pack files:
1. Place "ccmerged.package", "StoreFix_DecrapFixes.package", "StoreFix_Fixes.package" and
"StoreFix_UnAwesome.package" in: (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages.
then
2. Open (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCBackup and find a .package file called "ccmerged.package".
If it’s not there, unrar "ccmerged.package" and place the .package file in this folder. Never rename this package
I got confused here .. there is ccmerged already in the dcback up why should I put another one in the mod file from the rar ? or is it a differernt one .. note they are differernt in the size my dcback up is 5.71 kb and the one in the rar is 9.174 kb thank you .

Re: a question about store fix
Hello,
They're are definitely different. The "ccmerged.package" gets updated all the time, that's probably the different.
Though I can't provide a lot of information on this question, as I don't even know what all those files are for, lol.
Please wait for someone else's reply for a more accurate answer.

Re: a question about store fix
The CCMerged.Package file that goes into the mods folder acts as an override to the same one in the DCBackup folder. 99% of users will have the game generated ccmerged.package in DCBackup but there are a few modders that don't, hence the instructions to copy the one from the rar file to DCBackup. What the override does is issue the game a If/Then type of statement telling the game to look for the content from the modded ccmerged.package instead of the game generated one.

Re: a question about store fix
No, you need to put it there, the other instructions are for those few that don't already have the file in DCBackup as well
