Diesel Stuff Key

Okay I'm a noob and I know it but I read EVERYTHING several times and followed instructions exactly. I am doing an install for the first time of the entire sims 3 (I haven been a sims 1 player for a long time but didn't want to spend hundreds buying all new disks when I don't even know if I will like it.) When I found this site I decided to finally move up to sims 3 and try it out. I have reached the step where I install Sims3 Diesel Stuff but it is asking for a key code and the download (that I got here) doesn't appear to have the key code. The files are all there except the one that has the key code in it like all the other files which I also got here. Is it someplace else? Am I just missing it? (I looked for a text file in all the folders ect. already) please help as I am stuck on this step because I don't want to mess up my install.

Maybe you opened the .rar file using a program other than WinRAR and the file isn't showing up because of that.

Thank you so much. Part of my problem is some of the buttons on this site don't load properly and I get the little "broken" link icon instead of buttons. The download went through Public HD or something like that and is not a .rar file it is a power iso file and the text file with the keys is missing. I been so busy trying to get this done that I haven't even tried to figure out why I can't see all the content on here. Guess thats next. Thank you so much for posting what I needed so fast!! I'll let you know if I have any further problems but let's hope not!

I have completed the install of the base game, all the stuff and expansions up to "Diesel Stuff". The game works perfectly. I just have two questions. One, it asked me to log in and since I didn't know if I should or not I didn't. Will it work with this install if I log in? Second question I downloaded some .sim3packs from my favorite sims 1 site TSR (the Sims Resource) can I add those or will it cause a problem? TY for the AWESOME instructions. They were clear and EASY to follow!

Thanks for the reply. I worked out the . sims3pack issue myself (should have tried harder to find it myself first huh?) I am going to guess that all the multitasking I was doing is why your pages weren't loading right for me. today with nothing running in the background they run fine. I use google chrome BTW. I am now installing this on my desktop since my laptop is slower and it works but does slow me down alot on the laptop. I guess I should have just put it on the esktop in the first place. the only glitch or issue i have had so far is the horse my sim adopted is well...coming unglued for want of a better description. its like a horse suit of armor and i can see inside the empty horse when she moves or when I move the camera to anther angle. sometimes it looks like a shattered mirror bursting into some kind of sharp shattered blossom only to settle back into a horse again in a minute or so. I am using the "fixed" version of pets so I don't know maybe its my graphics card on my laptop it is 3 years old. I'll wait and see on the desktop whoch s only a year old, if there is still a problem I'll check back here then and see if anyone can help. I don't want to fix what I am not going to use. (the laptop install) TY your site is awesom, I've gotten more answers here in two days than I got from 3 years of sims 1 help requests.
