Counter Strike: Source

Hey
When i click on counterstrike.exe my whole computer freezes and i see the setup for 0.5 secs and then its gone..
after that nothing happens!
Im really desperate for this game!
any help pls??

I have the actual game along with day of defeat, etc... It did the same thing to me every time I tried to play any game. I don't think it's compatible to Windows XP anymore because once I got Windows 7 I tried it and everything went smooth again. Anyways, I hope that helped a little, so if you have anymore trouble maybe someone here will have better information. If not you can try the Steam website and look under the help forums.

feel free to test your system at system requirement lab if u pass the test, mean u can run the game

ShadeKensis is right, it looks like the Game doesn't work with Windows XP.

Narong, CSS isn't in the System Requirements Lab -list.
