Does any1 know something about... iPod jailbreaking.

Hello! Sorry this is not about the sims, but this is the most active forum about software I know.
before I start my story, the question: Does any1 know ANYTHING about iPod touch Downgrading (or Jailbreaking)?
When not I'll just look to another forum no problem but this is the best forum I know that's why.

here's something i found from ehow:

The iPod touch comes with many different programs and applications that allow users to check email, stock prices, weather reports and surf the Web while they listen to music or watch videos. However fully loaded the iPod touch may be, it is a "closed" device, meaning that it has read-only features and third-party applications cannot run on the iPod. Some users prefer using an "open" iPod with both read and write capabilities and decide to jailbreak their iPods. This opens the machine to allow the use of programs that weren't loaded at the factory.
