'Game process could not be started'.[SOLVED]

When I play my game after installing the Diesel SP I keep getting the 'Game process could not be started' message but the game starts up and works perfectly but when I save and quit the game freezes on black screen and I have to turn my mac off to continue using it. Any clues what is causing this?

I will try manually patching it again to see if it makes any difference, I post back with the results

Everything is fixed I re-applied the patch and ultimate fix and it is working perfectly again thanks for your help and the amazing free stuff
