Certificate authentication failed.[SOLVED] Empty Certificate authentication failed.[SOLVED]

Post by ☠ ~ Aɳɳ ~ ☠ Sun 02 Sep 2012, 08:00

Hello guys,

I was prompted to update flash player, downloaded it, clicked it, then this happened:
Certificate authentication failed.[SOLVED] Image411

And I was like, ok. Lets see what I can find out about this. Then I find only answers about IE9 and Windows 7 and I figured, it's probably faster to ask. One of you guys is bound to know the answer, right? Smile

Yes the clock is fine scratch , how is that relevant LOL.
I have automatic updates for Windows, so that should be fine.
I have not tried another browser but, that would also not help if I'm not mistaken. Since I need the updated flash player with the browser I use.

You'll not be able to update if your clock is not set correctly. It the motherboard, got one battery. If the battery is dead, your clock will not work correctly Smile

How about trying to delete all cookies and try again?

Hello,

Try a different browser, to be sure.
And Narong is right, I once couldn't update my Windows out of sudden. So I did some research and found out my system clock wasn't running correctly. God knows how that was related to my Windows not updating.

Go to your "Date and time" settings and synchronize your PC time and date with an internet server. ("Internet time" tab)

Hello,

Clock was synchronized, and I had the same problem when I use firefox.

It downloads fine by the way, it just won't install.
