the sims 3 installation

when i install the sims 3 the game is in version 1.0 something

when i want to install EP he tells me i must update before and if not i cannot continue the installation of the EP

after i press "yes" and its updating my version of the game the game wont work cuz im getting the "error unable to startup"

im doing exactly as the ultimate fix says (correct me if i missed something)

apparently the previous sims 3 i've installed was still on my computer in a weird way

I suggest keeping a backup of your vanilla TS3W.exe and TSLHost.dll files, so when you have to update later, you can just pop them into your game installation directory, update it, and get the latest crack. It will give you errors if you try to update with a crack installed.
