Sims 3 Ambitions Issue

Hello, I recently downloaded the Sims 3 Ambitions to add to my retail Sims 3. I uninstalled my original game then reinstalled it, updated, installed Ambitions, updated - then applied the cracks. The launcher opens fine but it won't run the game. The launcher will close but the game never seems to open. I uninstalled everything again and then reinstalled the same way but I still have the same problem. Suggestions?

Do you apply the crack for your base game? You should not apply the crack for base game, if you've the retail one.

Anyway, maybe this will help you:


1. Completely uninstall The Sims 3 + All expansions.
2. Restart your PC.
3. Reinstall The Sims 3. DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
4. Install WA.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
5. Install HELS.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
6. Install Ambitions.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
7. Install Fast Lane Stuff.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
8. Install Late Night.* DO NOT APPLY THE CRACKS!
9. Update the launcher to the latest version.
10. Apply these updated Cracks: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/fixes-f18/the-sims-3-latest-cracks-download-t656.htm
11. The Game should work fine now.

* = Optional

Note: Make sure, don't apply crack for your base game.

Hello again, I tried what you suggested and still nothing. The game won't start. The launcher works fine and it goes through the steps that it normally would if it was going to work, but the game never launches. I don't apply the cracks to the base game either.

May I know your system information? Do you think, your system afford to run the game?

Well I've always played the Sims on my computer, so I don't think that's it.
But here it is:
AMD Athlon (tm) 7450 Dual-Core Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
3072MB RAM
I'm also running on Windows 7
and I have a NVIDIA GeForce 8200 graphics card with 1394 MB

Ok, just to make sure. Do you already apply the latest crack?
