No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
Hello. I've never downloaded a game from here before and I was just wondering if I would need to mount the Sims 3 xpacs you guys have to a disk to use them, or if they would work like I had down a direct-to-PC download from EA? I looked through the forums a bit and tried searching it up but I didn't find anywhere that told me whether or not I would need to mount them, so I'm asking now.
Thank you in advance.
Edit: I went ahead and downloaded Supernatural (I already have the base game that I bought from EA) and I got everything installed seemingly properly. I updated everything, took off all of my custom content, and used the ultimate fix for the crack, but every time I go to bring up my game, it says
"Disc Authentication Failure
No game disk found! Please insert The Sims 3 Supernatural game disk before proceeding."
Then it gives me the option to either retry or cancel.
I'm not sure where I went wrong with the installation. The files from the # Crack folder I was supposed to move were moved to the base game bin in Program Files just like the instructions said, but it's not working nonetheless.
I'm really looking forward to playing the game and hope that someone can help me out with this soon.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Try the fix. Since you're already at patch level 1.38, you don't need the entire fix, just step 13 of the installation guide.

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
I already did. It still wasn't working. But I think something was wrong with my base game install, so I'm going to reinstall my base game to see if it works after I get that fixed. Hopefully it will.

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
I reinstalled everything but it still won't work. I think something is wrong with my base game download though, because I'm missing a lot of things that should be in the bin folder. I found another user that had the same issue, but theirs had been saved to their Origin folder. I've checked mine though, and it's not there.:/ There aren't any other folders pertaining to Sims 3 except in my documents folder, but that doesn't have the bin folder, so I don't really know what's wrong with it. >.<
Above is my bin folder, that's after unistalling Sims 3 and reinstalling it, then trying to install Supernatural.
And that is the folder for Sims 3 in my documents.
If you can help from this, that would be wonderful.
I have the latest update of both Sims 3, the ultimate fix you guys put up, and the Origin downloader, so I don't think that's the issue on any of this.

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
Still have the .rar of the base? Just try to re-extract it with WinRAR, and re-install, if still having the issues of not getting really many files, might go for a re-download of the base game.
Also, after you uninstall reboot your computer before you re-install.

I didn't use a .rar for the base game. I bought it from EA some time ago and downloaded it through Origin.

Hello,
In that case, note that the crack goes into this folder instead: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
Sorry for the (really) late reply, life happened.
The folder you told me to put it in doesn't exist. My Origin Games folder is completely empty.

Hello,
That's very odd. Was your base game working before?

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
Yes. My base game has always worked fine, never had any issues. I even managed to get the store updates up to August on my base game and working perfectly. But when I tried to get Supernatural I realized that I was missing all of this. My game still runs without it though, which is weird to me, I just can't crack Supernatural to use it.:c

Hello,
And it's definitely an Origin base game, not a Steam version?

As far as I know it isn't. I downloaded it through Origin and I've never even had Steam on my computer. >.<

Hello,
Ok then it's probably not Steam.
Maybe you want to ask Admin to have a look with teamviewer. Just join the chatbox if he's online on the forum to ask him about it.

Re: No Disk Error.[SOLVED]
I finally got this issue resolved! (Mostly) For some reason when I downloaded the base game and installed it through Origin I was missing all of those files, but a friend of mine had the base game on disk so I installed the base game from the disk and it worked fine, I now have all of the files I should have in my bin folder.
Everything is working fine now and I even managed to get Showtime from your downloads page.
Thank you all for trying to help me out and for putting these games up for people like me that can't afford them normally.
