Uninstall/Install problem...

I uninstalled the sims 3 a good while ago because i needed space for other things. Now I'm trying to install it again but it says
The setup has detected that version 1.33.002 of the sims 3 is already installed.
This setup installs an earlier version of the sims 3 ( 1.0.615)
you will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version.
Problem is.. I have no sims 3 folder, no electronic arts folder. Nothing, would anyone know how to fix this? I'm guessing i have something still on my pc or else it wouldn't do this because i've uninstalled it before and never had this problem.

You may have some leftover registry entries, try a registrycleaner, or find the entries manually. You can use this video to guide you in the right direction.
