Issue with the new update

So I just updated to the 1.39 version (I couldn't take the endless amount of zombies anymore), and when I tried to start the game, it gave me the no disc error. So I redid the ultimate fix (skipping step 11, since I had just updated), and it fixed the "no disc" problem, but the loading screen came up as Showtime instead of Supernatural. Then, when it completely loaded, the whole game just crashed. So...now what?

Not anymore. But I redownloaded the fix, tried it again, and it worked this time, as far as I can tell. Thanks for replying though...I'm so new at this, so I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll have a problem.

However, I did notice I'm still having zombies pop up when it isn't the full moon...it's just annoying, but not really a huge problem. Why is that happening?
