In sim creation, sim is invisible. Some of the in game texts are also invisible.

I've installed the game with the instructions, but on one point there was an error and I patched the game because it wouldn't allow me to install expansion. I don't remember which one it was, but it was before installing Late Night.

As the Late Night instructions say not to apply cracks, I needed to patch the game so it would install the expansions.
Everything else went smoothly after that part. I belive my graphics card drivers are up to date, and all other requirments are met.

I can post pictures of it, but it takes quite a while to get in game and such....

No the loading takes a while because of the slow computer, the sims and texts won't appear no matter how long I wait.

Okay, i tried that and it made the loading screens go gray.
for some reason im unable to take screenshots, also most of the text in options are missing.

I've had The Sims 3 installed on my computer once before but only up to Generations, and it worked fine.

Im doing a clean install now, I imform if it helps (most likely yes.) I'll be doind this tommorrow so there will be delay on the information.

Don't forget to restart your computer after you uninstall.

Now that i have done a clean install, it works perfectly.
Only thing I changed was, that I installed the base game then right after that I installed Supernatural expansion.

It appears the problem was on the World adventures expansion, it constantly wanted me to update the, so I need to use the crack 3 folder for updates.

First I tried to install them in the order of release, but it seems that one of the following should be installed first for the update; Supernatural, Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet Treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff, Generations.

As the instructions on the https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t1171-must-read-how-to-install-the-sims-3-correctly state that atleast one of them must be installed. I suggest that it would be edited so that it would say, that you should install one of those right after the base game, that seemed to solve all the problems i had, and i haven't encounter any other yet. I will be informin if some bugs/glitches will be encountered.

Glad to hear it works now!
Yes, that's indeed what the Alternative Instructions (the old instructions) say to do. We do not use it as a default recommendation any more, because it's too confusing for some people and only a few people have problems because of the installation order.

I have played few days now, I haven't noticed anything disturbing except that sometimes when full moon is there will be a zombi that looks exactly like my character and even has the same name (character is human, other one is a fairy). I don't know if its normal to supernatural but it seems bit stupid....

Enyway my friend actually has a problem with his game (installed it the same way as I did), he gets wierd lag pretty often. For example: sim runs on a dreadmill, suddenly sim frozes in mid-air but the mill keeps spinning. He currently plays on laptop, but that shouldn't be the problem because hes laptop is a lot better than mine.

Any help with that is appreciated.

As for the zombie problem, I'm not sure, you'll have to wait for someone else's reply on that one.
As for your friend's problem, is he using any Mods or Custom Content? (I think it's easier if he opens a new topic on the Forum himself)

Is your sim one that you made yourself, and then placed in town? If so, the game grabs sims out of the sim library to use for npcs, like zombies, bartenders, things like that, if it runs out of available sims in town.

Thanks for the tips on the zombie problem, it got fixed when I deleted the copy of the family.

I'll tell my friend to make his own thread.
