If I updated my Sims 3 base game to 1.39 and after that install the Supernatural expansion pack, would it work? I mean would the patch fixes the bug in Supernatural? Do I have to install the expansion ( or any) prior patching it to the latest version?

*note: I haven't crack/fix anything yet. I just installed mine, fresh and left it untouch because I'm not so sure.

in the ultimate fix it says to install the expansions and then go to the launcher to see if theres any updates, and to update. I would install and then update; It's all very simple if you read the Ultimate Fix Instructions :]

You can always patch again, using the manual patch.

Since I have the option to patch again I think I would patch my base game before installing Supernatural then.

I do actually.. I was curious at the version of the Supernatural I downloaded from here and I went to check the skuversion and found out that it's different than my Sims 3 Base..

EDIT: Nevermind, I took the risk installed it, followed the guide on how to install sims 3 correctly bla bla.. And IT WORKS. Hammertime
