A random crash in the CAS mode. [CLOSED]
Greetings everybody!
I have another computer, and this one is... quite decrepit in comparison to the powerful other from the last two years.
The problem is: sometimes, not always, while creating a household in CAS, the game just crashes, but not always, just sometimes.
I have to tell you that I always play the sims 3 with the most minimal graphics settings, even when my other computer could handle Diablo 3 at max settings. I do this because I hate playing a game with graphics that looks too... developped. I also absolutely forbid my kids to change the graphics settings. I'm very severe about this: we only play with minimal, so the video card couldn't be the cause of the crash...
Another thing is: I though that I had 4gb ram, but I found out with horror I was wrong, it's only a decrepit 2gb ram! I was very angry at the shopkeeper, who assured me that it was a 64 bits windows xp, but it's only a 32 bits one. Don't worry, I'm going to tell him what I think of his cheating ways... eventually, if I return in Montreal.
So, can any of you guys help me about this CAS random crashes to the desktop?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Kabiru
